Here I am. The girl with a blog. I took a hiatus from blogging for many moons as I spent eighteen months in that lovely southern state of North Carolina, serving as a full time missionary. I won't go through all the glorious details, but just know that those were the most punishing and most rewarding eighteen months of my life. Did I cry? You bet your britches. Did I question why in the world I had decided to go? Constantly. Did God show me the reasons why He needed me there? Absolutely. My heart went through immense joy and turmoil simultaneously (yes, its possible), and it was 100% worth it. Yes, Ma'am.
Now I'm here again, a college student waiting to find Mr. Right (if you would like to make yourself known to me, that would be much appreciated) and still hoping to one day meet Ellen DeGeneres. I guess my priorities haven't changed much from a year and a half ago...
